
1. Make a control template from 0.8 mm thick sheet metal at a scale of 1:1.
2. Raise the car.

3. Insert the template (4) onto the clutch distributor until it stops in the groove of the plastic insert.

4. If the cut out marks of the template (arrow) are recessed behind the flange of the clutch distributor cylinder, then the clutch disc still has sufficient thickness.
5. If the cut marks remain visible even though the template is inserted all the way, then the clutch disc has already reached its wear limit and must be replaced.
6. Lower the car.
