The brake light switch is located on top of the brake pedal near the pedal block.

Removal



1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the left cover under the instrument panel.

3. Disconnect the wire plug from the brake light switch.

4. Press the lock (S9b), turn the switch and remove.

Installation



1. Pull the switching pin (S9a) on the new switch as far as it will go. This will give the maximum travel of the pin (a).

2. Press the brake pedal fully. Position the switch and turn it until the locking pin (S9b) engages.

3. Release the brake pedal, the switch pin path will self-adjust.



4. Place the wire connector onto the brake light switch.

5. Install the cover under the dashboard.

6. Check if the brake lights come on when you press the brake pedal slightly.
