When ordering spare parts, always provide as much information as possible. Include vehicle type designation, chassis number, engine number and, if possible, vehicle identification number.
The identification number (VIN) plate is attached to the crossbar under the hood in the engine compartment and is visible when the hood is open. The vehicle identification number (chassis) is also stamped on the top of the right suspension strut tower.
The chassis number and paint code are indicated on a painted plate, which is also attached to the engine cover cross member, where it is located next to the VIN plate (see fig.).
Depending on the model, the engine number is stamped either on the rear right side of the cylinder block or on the left on the front surface of the cylinder block.
