The trunk lid lock latch is equipped with a closing mechanism that ensures smooth and shock-free operation when closing.

To unlock the trunk lid, turn the key in the lock to the left by 45°. The lock latch is released by pressing the lock button.

The lock is locked by turning the key at an angle of 45° in the opposite direction. Turning the key to the right at an angle of 90° allows you to turn on the individual lock blocking from activation by the remote control.

Attention! On some models, the trunk lid may be equipped with an additional lock, the unlocking and locking of which occurs simultaneously with the activation of other locks by any of the standard methods. When the individual locking of the main lid lock is activated, the additional lock is also locked.

1 — Latch switch lever to manual closing position
2 - Press the striker
3 — Latch switch lever to the soft-close amplifier activation position


If the lock latch booster mechanism fails, open the trunk lid with the key, then move the shift lever to the left and press the striker tab of the lock.

Close the lid.
