To prevent corrosion in the front part of the vehicle, such as on the sidewalls, side members or on the protective shield and drive unit, spray high-quality preservative wax in the engine compartment, including the brake system components in the engine compartment, as well as the front axle and steering components. This is done primarily after flushing the engine, of course.

Caution! Before flushing the engine, which can be done, for example, with a low-temperature cleaning agent or a steam injector, cover the generator, fuse boxes and the hydraulic brake fluid reservoir with plastic covers.
