Vacuum the cushion upholstery or brush it with a not-too-soft brush. In case of heavy soiling, use dry foam. Treat greasy and oily stains with cleaning gasoline. But do not pour detergent directly onto the material, as this will inevitably create halos. The stain is treated by wiping it in a circular motion from the outside to the inside. In most cases, other stains can be removed with warm soapy water.
Leather upholstery
When exposed to strong sunlight or when parked for long periods, cover the seats to prevent fading.
Lightly dampen a knitted or woolen cloth with water and clean the leather surface with it, without over-wetting the leather or seams. Then wipe the dry leather with a clean, soft cloth.
Heavily soiled leather surfaces can be cleaned with a mild, neutral detergent without bleach (two tablespoons per liter of water) Remove greasy and oily stains carefully without applying pressure using a swab soaked in cleaning gasoline.
Cleaned (varnished) leather chairs should also be treated with carnelian oil as an antistatic agent to maintain their appearance. Shake the oil well before use and apply a thin layer with a soft cloth. After it has been absorbed, wipe the leather with a clean, soft cloth. This treatment is recommended to be carried out every six months under normal use.
