Diagnostics of injection system faults (Mercedes-Benz S-Class W126)

Before using the table to determine faults, the following conditions must be met: errors during startup are excluded; both with a cold and warm engine, the gas pedal should be slightly pressed when starting and held in this position; when the engine is hot, fully depress the gas pedal when starting and hold it in this position until the engine starts. There should be fuel in the tank, the engine mechanics are in order, the battery is charged, the starter should produce the required number of revolutions, the fuel system is sealed, there should be no contamination in the fuel system, crankcase ventilation is in order, good ground contact between the engine - gearbox - body.

Caution: If fuel lines are unscrewed, they must first be washed with gasoline.
