Attention! All sealing elements must be replaced without fail!
Petrol models
Details of installation of the K/V condenser on petrol models (with code H02)
1 - Refrigeration line to the receiver-drier
2 - Refrigeration line to the condenser
3 - Capacitor
1. Remove the fan accessory assembly (see Section Removing and Installing the Auxiliary Fan Assembly).
2. Under the conditions of a specialized service station, discharge the A/C system.
3. Disconnect the refrigeration lines from the receiver dryer (1) and capacitor (2), - prepare replacement sealing rings.
4. Pulling in the direction of the arrow shown in the picture, remove the capacitor (3), - take care not to damage the heat exchanger plates.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
6. In conclusion, start the engine at idle and turn on the air conditioner for about 4 minutes at maximum cooling capacity - the temperature of the air supplied to the passenger compartment through the deflectors of the central air duct of the instrument panel should not fall below + 5°С.
7. Make sure that there are no signs of the development of leaks from the path of the A/C system, check the correct functioning of the system.
Diesel models
Details of installation of the K/V condenser on diesel models (M628)
1 - Radiator of the cooling system; 2 - Capacitor; 3, 4 - Lines of the cooling path; 5, 6 - ATF lines; 7, 8 - Refrigeration lines; 9 - Clips; 10 - Bolts; 11 - Capacitor fastening elements
1. Capacitor (2) removed assembled with a radiator of the cooling system (1), - see Section Removal and installation of a radiator of system of cooling.
2. If necessary, remove the bolts (10) and by pulling in the direction indicated by the arrow in the picture, release the capacitor (2) from fasteners (11), - take care not to damage the heat exchanger plates.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
4. In conclusion, check the paths of the cooling and air conditioning systems for signs of the development of leaks, make sure that the A/C functions properly.
