Petrol models
Installation details of the K/V condenser on petrol models (with code H02)
1 - Refrigeration line to receiver-dryer
2 - Refrigeration line to condenser
3 - Capacitor
1. Remove the auxiliary fan assembly (see Section Removal and installation the auxiliary fan assembly).
2. Discharge the cooling system at a specialized service station.
3. Disconnect the refrigeration lines from the receiver-dryer (1) and condenser (2) - have replacement sealing rings available.
4. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the picture to remove the condenser (3), being careful not to damage the heat exchanger plates.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
6. Finally, start the engine at idle speed and turn on the air conditioner at maximum cooling capacity for approximately 4 minutes - the temperature of the air supplied to the passenger compartment through the central air duct deflectors of the instrument panel should not fall below +5°C.
7. Make sure there are no signs of leaks developing from the air conditioning system tract, check the proper functioning of the system.
Diesel models
Installation details of the K/V condenser on diesel models (M628)
1 - Radiator of the cooling system; 2 - Capacitor; 3, 4 - Cooling tract lines; 5, 6 - ATF lines; 7, 8 - Refrigeration lines; 9 - Fixators; 10 - Bolts; 11 - Capacitor fastening elements
1. The condenser (2) is removed together with the cooling system radiator (1), - see Section Removal and installation the cooling system radiator.
2. If necessary, unscrew the bolts (10) and, pulling in the direction indicated by the arrow in the picture, release the condenser (2) from the fasteners (11) - try not to damage the heat exchanger plates.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
4. Finally, check the cooling and air conditioning system lines for signs of leaks and ensure that the air conditioning system is functioning properly.
