Installation details of the electric motor (M2/6) for the left mixing flap drive


1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the cover on the left under the instrument panel (see Chapter Body).

3. Loosen the mounting screws (1), disconnect the electrical wiring connector (3) and remove the electric motor assembly (M2/6).

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

5. Finally, the electric motor (M2/6) should be normalized using the STAR DIAGNOSIS reader - contact a Mercedes-Benz service station for assistance.

6. Do not forget to also clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic system processor (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).

7. Make sure that the air conditioning system is functioning properly.
