1. Place the vehicle on a level surface. Adjust the air pressure in the tires. For vehicles with a ride height control system or ADS, the engine should run for approximately 30 minutes at medium speed.

2. Read the adjustment parameter (%) for the main and additional headlights on the car headlight and set it on the scale of the headlight aiming device. A tilt of 1% "n" corresponds to 10 cm of the installation dimension "e".



3. Install the testing and adjustment device on the same axis as the vehicle and make vertical adjustments according to the marks on the reflector.

4. Start the engine and turn on the low beam headlights.

5. Check the operation of the headlight beam angle adjuster. The light beams of both headlights should move evenly.

6. Set the headlight aiming adjuster to position "0". On models with xenon headlights, remove the additional weights.

7. Check the low beam headlights and adjust them if necessary. When adjusting vertically, the edge of the light beam should exactly coincide with the horizontal line (4) of the device; when adjusting horizontally, the inclined line (5) should come out of the intersection of the vertical line (6) with the horizontal line (4). The common reflector unit on Sedan models, starting from 03.94, provides simultaneous adjustment of the angle of the headlights and fog lights.
