Removal
1. The unit is located in the engine compartment on the left inner wing (see fig. 2.1).

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Pry off the protective cover on the top of the control unit to expose the fuse and electrical connectors.
4. Disconnect the wire harness from the connectors on the control unit.
5. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the control unit from the wing.
Installation
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
