Signalling devices, symbol lighting and interior lighting: check their operation.

Check the exterior lighting and adjust the headlights if necessary.

Check the sound signal.

Check the rubber wiper blades for wear.

Windscreen washer: check operation, check nozzle position, check headlight washer.

Check the adjustment of the angle of the optical axis of the headlights.

All current consumers: check their operation.

Replace the rubber windshield wiper blades.

Checking the operation of alarms/external lighting



Signaling devices



1. Turn on the ignition (turn the ignition key to position "2").

2. Light the indicator lights for about 30 seconds and then turn them off. Check if all the lights come on as per the vehicle's equipment.

3. Seat belt stowage and tensioning system indicator (inflatable airbag) should go out no later than approximately 4 seconds.

4. Turn on the high beams, activate the flashing indicator and check the indicator lights.

Outdoor lighting



1. Check the front and rear light indicator glass for damage and water penetration.

2. Turn on the outside lights and check their operation.

Checking the adjustment of the angle of inclination of the optical axis of the headlights



1. Start the engine and let it idle.

2. Turn on the low beam.



3. Set the headlight optical axis tilt adjuster (corrector) to different positions and check whether both headlight beams move simultaneously.

Cleaning the antenna telescopic rod



Necessary wearing parts: cleaning cloth for telescopic antenna.

1. Pull out the antenna or extend it while turning on the radio.

2. Clean the telescopic rod with a cleaning cloth.

3. Retract the antenna, or force it to retract automatically by turning off the receiver.

4. Repeat this operation several times.

5. Then wipe the telescopic rod dry with a clean cloth.
