Air pump installation details on petrol models
5 - Bolt
5/1 - Air hose
M33 - Electric Air Pump
Arrow - Electrical wiring connector
1. Remove the cylinder head cover trim panel/air cleaner (see Section Removal and installation air intake tract components).
2. On models 463.246 (G55 AMG), remove the oil filter liquid heat exchanger oil lines.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolt (5), disconnect the air hose (5/1) and electrical wiring (arrow).
4. Remove the air pump assembly (M33).
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
