1. Pre-fuel pump installation details on 163.113 models (612 series engine) are shown in the illustration, to which all references found in the text refer.

2. Remove the cylinder head cover trim panels.

3. Remove the vacuum pump (2).

4. Disconnect the fuel supply (3) and return (4) lines from the pre-pump (13).

5. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the pump assembly (13), prepare to collect any spilled fuel.

Attention! Do not open the pump assembly!


6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - the pre-pump should be filled with fuel before installation. Ensure that the mating surfaces of the components being installed are clean, do not forget to replace the sealing gaskets.

7. Finally, start the engine and check the relevant fuel system components for signs of developing leaks.

3. Remove the mounting bolts (2) and remove the fuel pre-pump assembly (1) - be prepared to collect any spilled fuel.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - the pre-pump should be filled with fuel before installation. Ensure that the mating surfaces of the components being installed are clean, do not forget to replace the sealing gaskets.

5. Finally, start the engine and check the relevant fuel system components for signs of developing leaks.
