Adjusting the throttle actuator on diesel models (612 and 628 series engines)


1. Illustrative material for checking and adjusting the throttle actuator on models 163.136 (111 series engine) is presented in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Check the condition and freedom of movement of the return lever (31/1) and the drive cable (32). Replace defective components.

3. Press the accelerator pedal until the return lever (31/1) rests against the limiter (b).

4. Turn to the left with the pedal depressed, release the maximum opening limiter of the valve (38).

5. Turn the limiter (38) to the right to bring it to the working position.

6. Release the accelerator pedal and make sure that the return lever rests against the idle speed limiter (a).

7. Make sure the throttle valve travels fully.
