Checking and adjusting the throttle actuator
Throttle Actuator Adjustment on Diesel Models (612 and 628 series engines)
1. Illustrative material for checking and adjusting the throttle actuator on models 163.136 (111 series engine) presented in the illustration, which includes all references in the text.
2. Check the condition and freedom of movement of the return lever (31/1) and drive cable (32). Replace defective components.
3. Depress the gas pedal until the return lever (31/1) hit the limiter (b).
4. Turning to the left with the pedal depressed, release the limiter for the maximum opening of the damper (38).
5. Turning to the right bring the limiter (38) to working position.
6. Release the gas pedal and make sure that the return lever rests against the idle speed limiter (A).
7. Make sure that the throttle valve travels fully.
