Removal
1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the lock.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal from the battery.
Warning! When you disconnect the battery from the radio, the security code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio station. If the code is unknown or not written down, then the radio can only be put into operation by resorting to the help of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, make sure in advance that the code is known.
3. Remove the glass cleaner.

4. Remove rod 1 from crank arm 2 (see illustration).
5. Unscrew the three bolts 3 and disconnect the windshield washer motor (see illustration 21.3).
Please note: Only one bolt 3 is shown in the illustration.
Installation
6. Connect the power plug of the wiper motor and let the motor run for a short time, then turn it off with the steering column switch to make it move to the parking position. After setting the motor to the desired position, turn off the ignition and disconnect the plug.
7. Install the electric motor on the bracket and secure with bolts 3, without tightening them, so that the electric motor can be moved on the bolts (see illustration 21.3).
8. Install the wiper reciprocating rod 1 onto the crank lever 2 so that they form one line (see illustration 21.3).
Attention! The distance between the crank pin and the rod should be 10.2 mm. If the required distance is not observed, there is a risk that the right rod will hit the front pillar. Therefore, if necessary, adjust the position of the rod.
9. Tighten the three bolts 3 securing the wiper motor to 15 Nm (see illustration 21.3).
10. Reinstall the wiper mechanism.
11. Connect the battery ground (-) terminal. The ignition must be off.
12. Enter the security code into the radio and set the clock.
13. Check the stroke and parking position of the wiper blades.
