Removal
1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the lock.
2. Remove the glass cleaner brush holder.
3. Remove the additional brake light cover, see the relevant chapter.
4. Remove the rear hatch trim, see the relevant chapter.
5. Disconnect plug 1 of the windshield wiper motor power supply.
6. Unscrew the three bolts securing the wiper motor (see arrows in the illustration) and remove the electric motor by pushing it down (see illustration).
Installation
7. Secure the windshield wiper motor to the rear door with bolts.
8. Connect the windshield wiper motor power plug.
9. Turn on the electric motor and let it run for about a minute, then turn it off using the steering wheel switch. This is necessary to set the electric motor to its original position.
10. Reinstall the tailgate trim.
11. Install the additional brake light cover.

12. Install the brush holder and check the operation of the glass wiper.
