Removal



1. Open the hood.

2. Unscrew the four bolts 2 securing the air intake cover 1 (see illustration).

2. Unscrew the four bolts 2 securing the air intake cover 1 (see illustration).


3. Lift the air intake cover up and remove it by tilting the hood down.

4. Press the nozzle retainer 1 using a screwdriver or pliers and remove it from the mounting hole by pushing it upwards (see illustration).

Caution: Before doing this, wrap the screwdriver in tape to avoid damaging the paintwork.


5. Disconnect hose 2 for supplying washing liquid from the nozzle (see illustration 18.4).

Installation



6. Connect the cleaning fluid supply hose to the nozzle.

7. Install the jet into the mounting hole on the air intake cover and fix it there.

8. Install the air intake cover onto the fairing and secure it with four bolts.

9. Close the hood.

10. Adjust the position of the jet.
