Details of installation of input and intermediate shafts of transfer case
1 - Intermediate shaft; 2 - Input (drive) shaft; 3 - Shift fork; 4 - Shift rod


1. Remove the center differential assembly (see Section Removal and installation the center differential).

2. Remove the input (drive) (2) and intermediate (1) shafts from the transfer case.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - do not forget to correct the axial clearance of the shafts by selecting adjusting washers.
