Heater heat exchanger installation details


1. The details of the installation of the heater heat exchanger are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the heater casing (7).

3. Unscrew the bolt (1) securing the air duct cover (2).

4. Remove the mixing flap drive lever (3).

5. In the engine compartment, disconnect the engine cooling system hoses from the heater heat exchanger pipes (6) (square insert).

6. Unscrew the bolt (4) and remove the mounting bracket (5).

7. Pull up and remove the heat exchanger (6) from the heater casing (7).

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

9. Finally, check the cooling system for signs of developing leaks.
