Central installation details (console) instrument panel sections (using the example of models with VIN A289564, X754619)
Arrows - Fastening Clips


1. Central installation details (console) the instrument panel sections are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the radio receiver (A2) (see Chapter On-board electrical equipment).

3. If equipped, remove the storage compartment (3).

4. Using a suitable wedge (5), release the upper fasteners (arrows) securing the central section (2) of the instrument panel (1).

5. Using the same wedge, remove the rotary handles from the control panel for the heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems.

6. Proceeding in a similar manner, release the lower fasteners (arrows) of the central section (2) and separate the latter from the instrument panel (1).

7. On models with VIN A289564, X754619, pull the hose (4) of the cabin air temperature sensor outward.

8. Disconnect the contact connectors of the electrical wiring connected to the central section (2) of the instrument panel (1).

9. On models with VIN A289565, X754620, disconnect the automatic air conditioning (AAC) control button connectors.



10. Remove the center (console) section (2) of the instrument panel (1).

11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the fasteners snap into place securely.
