This subsection covers models equipped with the audio systems MB "Classic" / stereo radio of the "standard" class (code ER5), MB "Special" / stereo radio of the middle (mid) class (code ER6) and MB "Exquisit" / stereo radio of the middle class "comfort" (code ER7).
Removal and installation of the radio receiver (A2) is performed using special keys (51). After connection, enter the security code into the radio receiver.
Models 463.250 with codes EF1 and EF2
The radio receiver is removed using special keys - model 463.250 with codes EF1 and EF2

This subsection covers models 463.250 equipped with Audio 10 RDS (code EF1) and Audio 10 RDS with disc player (code EF2) audio systems.
1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to the standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable from the latter.

2. Remove the instrument panel console section trim panel (see Chapter Body).
3. Remove the mounting screws and release the radio receiver assembly (A2) from the instrument panel.
4. Carefully, without bending or pulling, disconnect the D2B connector (3) of the fiber optic cable - immediately plug the waveguides with special light-proof caps.
5. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors (4).
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
7. Finally, read the DTC codes and clear the on-board diagnostic system memory using the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (See Chapter Engine electrical systems) and perform basic programming procedures.
