Mobile Phone Interface Installation Details
1 - Support bracket; 2 - Electrical wiring connector; 3 - Connector for connecting fiber optic cable; A34/4 - CTEL Interface; N15/3 - TCM/ETC


The presented material applies to models equipped with mobile telephone communication based on Nokia 6210 and 3110 devices (equipment codes ET7, EV7, EH1 and EV8).

1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to the standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable from the latter.

9 — Terminal of the negative wire of the module
W10 - Battery ground


2. Remove the center console assembly (see Chapter Body).

3. Without disconnecting the electrical wiring, separate the AT control module (N15/13) from the support bracket (1) (see Chapter Automatic transmission).



4. Remove the support bracket (1).

5. Disconnect the fiber optic cable connector on the CTEL interface module (A34/4) and immediately seal the waveguides with special light-proof caps.

6. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (2).

7. Remove the interface module (A34/4).

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

9. Finally, read the DTC codes and clear the on-board diagnostic system memory using the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (See Chapter Engine electrical systems).
