1 - Armrest; 2 - Holder; 3 - UPCI; 4 - CTEL console cover; 5 - Lid; 6, 9 - Bolts; 7, 8 - Connectors; 10 - Nuts; 11 - Support brackets


The material presented applies only to appropriately equipped models (equipment codes EH1 and EV8).

1. Open the armrest cover (1) of the center console.

2. Disconnect the phone holder (2) from the universal UPCI interface node (3).

3. Open the cover (4) of the CTEL console.

4. Unscrew the bolt (6) and remove the cover (5).

5. Disconnect the connectors (7 and 8).

6. Unscrew the bolts (9) and open the cover (4).

7. Remove the support brackets (11).

8. Loosen the nuts (10) and remove the UPCI interface assembly (3).

9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

10. Finally, read the DTC codes and clear the on-board diagnostic system memory using the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (See Chapter Engine electrical systems).
