When the parking brake is applied, two indicator lights on the instrument panel come on. The switch for the lights is located on the back of the parking brake handle.
Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the rear part of the center console, see the relevant chapter.
3. Disconnect the plug from the switch.
4. Remove the switch from the mount by squeezing the locking lever.
Installation
5. Insert the switch into place and secure it.
6. Connect the switch plug.
7. Install the rear part of the center console, see the relevant chapter.
Check the operation of the warning lights by starting the engine and pulling the parking brake lever and releasing it several times.
The indicator lights should come on when the first tooth of the sector is reached.
