Voltage Regulator Installation Details


1. The details of the voltage regulator installation are shown in the illustration. All references in the text refer to this illustration.

2. Remove the generator (see Section Removal and installation the generator).

3. Loosen the screws (1), release the fasteners (3) and remove the generator assembly cover (2).

4. Loosen the mounting screws (4) and remove the voltage regulator (5) by pulling it to the side.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the grounding element (6) is connected correctly.
