Overhead console component installation details


1. The installation details of the overhead console components are shown in the illustration to which all references in the text refer.

2. Open the garage door opener remote control transmitter module cover (1) on the overhead console panel (2).

3. Open the cover (3) of the sunroof electric drive switch (S13/2).

4. Release the ceiling light shades from the clips and remove them (4).

5. Unscrew the screws (5) located under the cover (1) of the transmitter and the lenses of the lamps (4).

6. Release the black clips (7) located near the interior light switches.

7. Press back both latches (6) and simultaneously push forward the overhead console panel (2).

8. After lowering down and disconnecting the contact connector of the ceiling electrical wiring (X18/2), remove the panel (2).

9. If necessary, release the switch (S13/2) of the electric drive of the upper hatch from the console assembly (see Section Removal and installation the switch for controlling the operation of the electric drive of the upper hatch).

10. On models equipped with a trip computer, remove the trip computer module (N41) (see Section Removal and installation the trip computer assembly (with the appropriate vehicle configuration)).

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
