Taking the first control measurement when determining the amount of runout
1 - Front axle
2 - Bottom edge of the frame
3 — Trailing arm bolt
Taking a second control measurement when determining the amount of runout
4 - Rear axle
5 — Frame beam
6 — Trailing arm bolt
1. Measure the distance between the center of the bolt (3) of the trailing arm on the front axle (1) and the lower edge of the frame (2).
2. Measure the distance between the center of the bolt (6) of the trailing arm on the rear axle (4) and the lower edge of the beam (5).
3. Using the appropriate nomogram (see Specifications), determine the required value of the runout, determined by the value of the suspension spring travel.
