General information
The vehicle is driven by transmitting torque from the axle differentials to the drive wheels of the front and rear axles via drive shafts (front axle)/semi-axles (rear axle). The splined inner journals of the drive shafts are brought into articulation with the side gears of the interwheel differential; the outer ones are fitted with articulated joint assemblies enclosed in casings, the splined journals of which, in turn, are brought into engagement with the hubs of the front wheels. The half-shafts of the rear axle transmit torque from the side gears of the differential directly to the hubs of the wheel assemblies.
