General information
The car is set in motion by transmitting torque from the axle differentials to the drive wheels of the front and rear axles through the drive shafts (front axle) /half shafts (rear axle). Splined internal drive shaft trunnions are introduced into the joint with the side gears of the cross-axle differential, the outer ones are fitted with hinged assemblies enclosed in casings, equipped with splines of the trunnions of which, in turn, are engaged with the front wheel hubs. The rear axle shafts transmit torque from the differential side gears directly to the hubs of the wheel assemblies.
