General information about the suspension (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

In A-class cars, the front suspension is made on shock absorber struts, and the rear - on longitudinal levers.

The most important components of the suspension are coil springs, anti-roll bar and gas-filled shock absorbers.

The front suspension components, together with the steering rack, engine and gearbox and final drive, are mounted on the front axle cross member, which is bolted to the body (see illustration 1.0).
