Removal



1. Unscrew the four bolts 1 securing the glove box lid hinges (see illustration).

2. Remove the clamps (see arrows in the illustration), tape stop 2 and shock absorber 2.

3. Remove the cover from the glove compartment.

The cover is installed in the reverse order of removal.

4. Remove the air duct cover under the glove compartment.

5. Loosen the four bolts 1 securing the glove box lid hinges (see illustration 12.1).

6. Move the cover in the desired direction and achieve uniform gaps and cover fit.

7. Loosen bolt 1 of bracket 2 and close the lid. This will cause the lock bracket to move and ensure proper operation of the glove compartment lid lock (see illustration).

8. Tighten the loosened mounting bolts, open and close the cover to make sure it moves easily. If necessary, repeat the adjustment of the cover.
