Fan not working
Blown fan motor fuse
Check fuse, replace if necessary.
Faulty fan switch
Remove the switch and check it. Replace if necessary.
Faulty fan motor
Check if voltage is being supplied to the blower motor with the ignition on and the blower switch on. To do this, the fan motor and fan speed control must be removed. If there is voltage, replace the motor.
Low blowing air temperature
Low coolant level
Check the coolant level in the expansion tank. Top up if necessary.
Dust filter clogged
Replace dust filter.
Difficulty moving air distribution dampers
Check the traction. Replace if necessary.
Heater radiator leaking or clogged
Replace heater core.
The heater fan does not work in one of the modes
Additional resistance defect (speed controller) fan
Replace regulator.
The heater does not turn off
Difficulty moving air distribution damper rods or they are faulty
Check the traction. Replace if necessary.
Noises in the fan
Dirt, leaves
Remove and clean the fan, clean the air duct.
Fan impeller imbalance, defective bearing
Remove the fan and check for ease of movement.
Sickening smell in the cabin. Windows fog up when heater is turned on
Heater radiator leak
Check the tightness of the pressurized radiator in a workshop. If there is a coolant leak from the heater core, replace it.
